Can I send a "Track Template" to a friend?

Hello,  

I was just wondering, i make custom synth sounds all the time and want to send them to other people to use.   In theory, if save a track with my custom preset, could I just send them the Track Template file created in an email and that exact sound will come up on their system (providing they have the same soft synth?)
