Can Someone Supply Me With A Pointer For This Guitar Rig Issue?

Hi Everybody...

I just installed X1 for a friend... He mainly was interested in the Guitar Rig 4 LE which installed with it...

After installing and registering the product. I opened it and found that Guitar Rig shows no devices (amps/etc.)...

I remember seeing posts about this issue, but I can't find them... I never was very good with this search engine and I can never remember the command line for using google to do better...


Can anyone shed some light on this for me? ...or point me to the thread that does? I'd love to fix this for my friend as he's so excited at getting started doing music on a pc.

    Keni, go to the website of Guitar Rig and install the latest updates, and you will then have all the presets in GR.

    Hmmm...

    the update helped, but didn't bring in the presets... It gave me the components, but no presets...

    ... So I tried the import and tho there appear to be a folder full of presets that it shows at this point, they don't load into GR4....???

    A little better...

    Did you try running the stand alone first. Some of the Native Instrument stuff needs that.

    Sonar Platinum 64bit, Win 8.1 Pro 64bit,  Quad Core 3.2GHz,  16G ram, Edirol FA 101, Nvidia

    did it come with the Service Center application? That usally shows everything available for downloading.

    Just launch it with sonar closed. then set it up with your soundcard. get it working and then close it. then open sonar and insert as an effect.
