I'd call it film score oriented and not a song.
There's a hint of a theme there with the muted trumpet that could be developed more.
It sounds good.

I'd say Steve and Jyemz covered the spectrum of what David might be asking.

I do not recognize it as a theme to anything. The theme from NPR perhaps, but you'd have to be on handfuls of quaaludes.
 
Which, I must stress, I am not.
