Can Sonar's Master Out be preprogramed?

I have Sonar Pro and a Yamaha TF mixer. The mixer is very simple (USB connection) but Sonar can drive me nuts. For example, my Master Out settings won't save, so every time I open the program, or move from song to song, I have to reset the Master Out to the appropriate setting for the mixer. Please tell me what I don't know. Thank you.

    Use templates.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

The Output of the Master bus in all the project templates delivered with SONAR will default to the first stereo output pair presented by the interface driver to the O/S, and enabled in SONAR's preferences.

If you want to use different outputs, just make the change in a new project, and Save As, choosing Save as type 'Template' in the save dialog. You can either save it as a new project template and set that as your default, or save over whichever existing template (.CWT) you used to start it.

OK, thank you, I'll give that a try. I made a template before but it didn't work out quite like I wanted. I'll give it another shot.

Hi. Does right click on (working) master bus, and select use as default work?
    Best of luck.

Thanks, folks. In this case, Brundlefly's comment that "SONAR will default to the first stereo output pair presented by the interface driver" is what worked for me; I turned off all other outputs so SONAR has no choice but to select the channels I want.

But this creates problems so I'll nail down the template suggestions, which, I know, are the best way to go. Thanks again.
