settings ? hmmm. which ones ? more specific ?
If I were to migrate from a to a new PC which I do every 2 years (When I build a new one)
I save all my:
- Pro Channel Presets
- Project / Track Templates
- VST plug In Settings (Cakewalk and 3rd party)
-VST Synth Settings
- FX Chains Presets
- Drum Maps
I copy the contents of the Cakewalk Command Center folder so I don't have to download everything
all over again. Then on new PC install Command Center and Paste those installers in there.
I don't believe there is a simple way to do this all with one file / one save.
But honestly, the above settings I listed take about 3 minutes to do.
- AUD.INI File (This has some preferences)
The AUD.INI file might be something you should wait on. every PC is different. you would benefit from letting sonar do its thing because your new PC wont be like the old one, thus using that file might cause more issues than help.
