Can anyone recomend a good place to get Drumless PLay Along tracks ? Or any to share?

Hi all !

Ive been searching the net for Some good Pop/ Rock and metal Drumless backing tracks and I have found a few but not many

Eather with a click or with out.

All the links I find on forums to what sounds like its going to be great end up being old dead links

Can any one point me in the right direction or maybe have a selection of there own they would share with me ? I will give you my email if you pm me

I am willing to pay for any tracks I can get !

This is more for teaching methods to give tracks to learn and also to find some I can just sit and batter out to from time to time for some fum rather than playing to no music !

Any Help with this would be fantastic and thank you for any help in advance

Norrie

Are you looking for real songs or just Bapu playing an Am (over and over and over and over and over and over)?

BAPU If you could offer an AM over and over and over you would be more of a legend than you already are :P

I would hope for some real songs also though if you or any one can recommend a place or have any your willing to send my way

All the links Ive found on line turn up to dead ends :(

    Thanks

As a kid, I recall you could get sheet music and an album to play along with. Seems to me it was called "Music Minus One" I think my brother had one for drums, but it was primarily used for teaching. They look like their still in business ... Here's a link
Music Minus One They have an assortment for drums.

I've got this one (there's two of these now).  I also have their bass and guitar ones - pretty fun.

You could always download MIDI files of your favorite songs and mute the drums. Gazillions of them available on the webinet.

First time I saw this it was 2 record set by the Ventures, Each side was 5 of their popular hits minus one instrument.

+1/2 To Free MIDI files, zillions of them mind you 97% are terrible with just an out of tune piano, choppy timing and wheezy sounding saxs.  Also I do believe MIDI is the domain of POP music culture and not much in the way of metal, you need a real guitar to be sincere with metal.
The best source would be some custom mixes from a multi track recording. If you ever get it together you should make a web site and get rich.

If you have any use for it, here is a drumless with no vox version of "Blue Suede Shoes" I did as a collab in the songs forum a few years back. BSS background
