Yes no problem I use it everyday and its in Full x64bit too like Kontakt 4.
For drums, you should check out Stylus RMX too. Also in x64bit of course. Buy both!

Yes, I use Battery 3 in X1.  But not often.  It's looking tired now and the interface is odd compared to the 'kit' and 'mixer' interfaces more commonly seen now.  I mostly use XLN's Addictive Drums which I find superb.

Battery 3 is my main drum go-to. It is rather old and ugly to look at but spending a little time on it I believe you will learn to love it. I love the fact that it has an arsenal of built in effects so once my drum kit is fully programmed with the compressor, limiter, reverb, etc. it loads right up and your ready to go right out of the gate. I have run Battery in Sonar since PE6 and I Love this little program. Of course your drum kits are only as good as your samples. I have an extensive library of samples and kits I've amassed over a period of 12 years. There is nothing you can't do with it. CAUTION! VERY LARGE LEARNING CURVE AHEAD! But, it is definitely worth it. By the way, as old as my version is it works seamlessly in X1! GET IT!
