Can i transfer my Sonar to other PC

Hi

i have attempted a search at this but could not find the answer in simple terms!

I will be buying a new PC this year - can i use my Sonar 8.5 PE on it with the same key that came with software ?

If not how do i get a new Key?

    You ca have Sonar on 2 computers just don't run them at the same time though no one will be looking.

    yes you can, in fact you can have the same Sonar install across several PCs as long as you don't use them simultaneously - ie you can have it on your desktop and laptop...

    as i have just found out the dude who sold me the PC i have has a non Genuine Copy of windows so i am having to purchase the Windows Software then uninstall everything then start again and thats on the PC which i want to replace.

    NIGHTMARE!

    Yes.
    YOu can install SONAR on multiple machines as long as you are only using it on any one machine at a time.
    If you want a number of simultaneous users you need a license for each user.
    So go ahead.

    I have SONAR on my test rig on my studio and on my laptop PC's. BUT I only ever use one at a time.
