Can not unmute the midi clip

I don't remember what i have done, after a year i open one of my project i possibly made the clip mute, now no way i can make that clip play again. I deleted all other midi channels only leave that clip and saved as midi format 0 or 1... nothing saved: empty http://i45.tinypic.com/ao6vl0.jpg

In track view, select the clip so that it is highlighted. Hit Alt+Enter. A properties box opens. There is a checkbox to mute or unmute the clip. Make sure that the 'mute clip' checkbox is unchecked.

Sorry; I am stuck in a Sonar 8 mindset. There must be a way to right click it or something to get to "clip properties". Or search the help for "clip unmute"; that's what you want. (Sorry, I didn't purchase X1 so I don't know its exact terminology.)

No problem, but clip mute unmute was the first thing i tried. I tried mute tool as well. Nothing seems to work. That's why i also tried saving as a plain midi format considering all extra stuff in the midi list data would go away but i don't understand why empty midi file i had

Hmmm, I am almost stumped. Random thought: clone the track. See if it behaves any differently on the cloned version. (It shouldn't be different, but it is worth a shot.)

What happens if you drag the clip to the midi browser (or desktop), then create a new track and drag the clip to the new track or a new track in a new project?

Props to scook; I never would have thought of that, either. Glad to hear that it is solved.
