Can see dll files in my browser, but cant see them when I try to scan

Can see dll files in my browser, but cant see them when I try to scan

I tried installing steven slate trigger, when I installed it it asked for the Ilok hardware, which I had to install, then I went back and tried to rescan for trigger nothing. When I look in VST files (program/cakewalk/vstfolder) I cannot see the dll to point to. I can see them in my file browser. Is there a better way? I've been thru the read me files aswell. any help explaning this stuff would be great. Thanks

    Oops! I'm on Sonar Platinum with the latest updates and a new studiocat computer and an RME fireface UFX. Thanks

    Hi. Did you check Steinberg\Vst? Some plugins default to that folder. IIRC I had to change (I only have Revival) destination folder to Cakewalk\Vst Plugins.

    Thanks Zargg, I've been having a hell of a time with drumagog 5 64bit. alot of crashing going on. I've sence deinstalled drumagog 5 64bit and installed drumagog 32bit. all is well with the projects I'm mixing now. in my original post I was trying to get steven slate trigger to install but gave up on that aswell. Thanks again
