Can wav samples be used with Addictive Drums?

I got off on a tangent this weekend, and was messing with drag/drop of audio clips and tried this on AD, but even though they drag (and show a + over the drum dragged to), nothing takes. So then I popped open Session Drummer 3 and did the same and they *do* take. I think this came to mind because of the EDM thread a bit ago.

I am assuming the answer to the question is "no," but wanted to ask to be sure.

ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.

No. The only way to add sounds to AD is via adpaks
