Can you have more than 1 video files loaded in X1?

Hi guys, quick question for you.
Say you're working on a soundtrack and you have a video file loaded (let's not open a whole .mov debate here...hehehehe). Is it at all possible to move the video to a different starting point?  I.e. a few bars into the project?

Also, say that you have more than one video file for the same project (i.e. you receive a new opening credit sequence), can more than 1 video files be placed on the timeline?

Everything I tried always ends up with replacing the current video rather than add to it.

Any thoughts?
Thanks

Darn.  I knew this was coming?  But some naive hope was still there.
    Ho well...

You can't move the video in the timeline,  but you can change the start time of Sonar.  I seem to like it that way. I don't have to worry about screwing up and worrying about sync.

Same for having two videos at a time.  I use a video editing program (Vegas) to handle video issues before dropping into Sonar.  It has way better tools than a DAW would have.

I prefer Sonar not get into the video editing area.

I appreciate your point, but as a soundtrack composer things get a little more messy.
Don't take me wrong, I like Sonar too much to even consider a switch (won't happen), but sometimes I receive documentaries in chunks as they come out from editing.  So I may get 4 or 5 files at a time.

    - Opening credits from one department
    - Closing titles from another
    - Main documentary
    - CGI shots

If I get an update for just one of those files, having to recode things in Vegas is not the best way.   Not for me anyway.

The start time in sonar though is a cool trick.  I'm sure I'll end up using that one.

Yep,  I get the same thing everyday.  Just yesterday I scored an opening tease to a TV show (doc/reality show, I usually do docs) and the show graphic came in later that day...The orginal video I recieved had a 10 second graphic demo.  The new graphic was 20 seconds.   So I just dropped the new graphic into Vegas and poof..without bothering the client to get me a new version of everything, I had a new music to them in couple of hours.  The music was approved and i sent OMFs to the audio mixer by 6pm.

I get updates constantly,  I recode nothing.  I always place the 1st frame of pic at the :10 mark.  The only thing I have to change is the SYMPTE offset in Sonar to match the new picture Time Code.
