Can you still afford this forum?

I know the economy is suffering. But can you still afford this forum?

I've cut down on KVR and GS visits.

I won't give up UAD and CW just yet, tho.

How about you?

A better question might be: In these hard economic times, can you afford not to use this forum?

Actually, I'm gonna wait these 3 new ones out until later this year. I have too much to learn and use right now.

    Ed

GS I can understand cutting down on.. *signs up to say my SB card isn't working right *

KVR.. well a lot of freebie synths etc =)

UAD , well lets face it your keeping em employed single handily..lol

even in good times, people didn't understand why I'd rather have spent money on equipment than a flash TV or car etc..it all comes down to priorities.

thankfully my friend is going to the states and getting me a gift back.. uk price £70.. US price £30-40..

I'd like to think in a way , that it might make people re-evalute whats important and money would go down the list a bit.. but hey I'm a bit of a hippy on the quiet.

1900,- Norwegian kroner, wich is what a Squier Affinity Tele costs or the price of an average softsynth...

I just got a bag of 5 from my local store for 65p, I can never resist a bargain. Now I can pig out and come here simultaneously, yay!

These were Bob Marley's favourites as well.........

    Tsk Tsk Maurice.

You can't afford the peroid but you went ahead and bought the new plugs from UAD.

Seems like the period was a cheaper buy. And you have 3 more UAD plugs than I do.

yeah ed (my name) but they had coupons expiring tonight! two of them. And UA never puts stuff on sale - at least not more than once a month or so. Maybe twice.

    Thanks for the heads up.

I used my two coupons for the Cooper Time Cube. Got it for $99 after the discounts.

I realize I could have had the others for 20% off too but that was another $360 I was not prepared to spend right now. And although they are probably very useful, I'm not dying on the vine for any SSL like processing.

    You guys need to prioritize.

Just think of how many bags of Donuts you can realize with that kind of money.
