Can't Load Halion Samples

Can't Load Halion Samples

Hello all,
I have always used Halion 2 as the synth to load a piano sample. Since I switched to Sonar 7, when I load Halion, there is no "File" button at the top. This is what I used to click to "Load Instrument". Now all I have is the "Preset" button at the top, with no "File" button. Anyone have any idea of what Im talking about? And if so, How do I correct this?

    the preset thing at the top doesn't work so great.. on some synths it works.. on others it don't.

    if you mean when you show the vst and it has sonars interface included around it?

    you can load the sound into halion though?

    a number of things I use can't use the vst patch names.. that goes for sonar and cubase as well. I can access the sounds thru the vst's own interface though

    No its not the sonar preset box, its the file box. I used to have a "file" box that you could click on to locate the instrument, right next to that is a little dxi box. Not, all I have is the "sonar preset box," and then the Halion Gui, with no "file" box at the top. Its weird, if I open a project done with Sonar 6, the "file" and "dxi" boxes are there, but If I load Halion in a new project, they are not.
