Can't Register Rapture X2

I can't register Rapture on my Windows 7 HP laptop. It says I'm not logged in as an administrator. I was originally not the administrator. I have since removed the original administrator account. I am the only account on the computer. I also tried reinstalling rapture. I'm not not sure how to get this working. If anyone has any ideas let please let me know.

    Hi,
     
    so just to make this clear: Your normal user-account currently has admin rights?
     
    A solution that Comes to mind would be:
    1) Create a new Administrator account.
    2) remove admin priveleges from your current account.
    3) restart your PC
    4) Right click on the Rapture Icon and select "run as admin" or whatever it is called.
    Then you should be able to Register the product.
     
    Worked for me at least :-).

    Even though you might have Admin rights, you must right click the .exe and select "Run As Administrator"
     
    This will elevate your somewhat limited Admin rights to full Admin rights and allow you to complete the installation.
     
    Also, with Rapture, try running it standalone to get it registered before using it inside Sonar

    This is a quite common issue, so don't feel bad.  I have done it too, with Dim Pro.
