Can't arm tracks while playing or recording anymore...
Hey guys. I have Sonar 8.3.2 and when I had Windows XP, I was able to arm/disarm tracks at will while playing or recording. Now that I've installed Windows 7 64-bit and had to reinstall Sonar, this capability does not exist anymore. It's like Sonar 7 again as far as being able to arm tracks. I can only arm when there's no playback or recording....and I thought Sonar 8 introduced this new ability.
Is there some sort of option to turn this on/off that I'm overlooking?

Check out
Transport>Record Options
>Allow Arm Changes During Playback/Record. I've never used it but it might be what you're looking for.
