Can't get guitar rig 3 to work

Help, I can't get guitar rig 3 (which comes with the software) to work.  Tried everything.  No input (shows not connected).  Downloaded all the drivers from their site.  Some of the downloads tell me there is a virus??????  Anhow, I don't know what else to do to make it work.  I can't get any effects at all.  Running Vista 64 bit which doesn't have a problem with anything else.

Hey, do yourself a huge favor and switch operating systems to windows 7. I was using vista 32bit when I bought the v-studio 7 mos ago and had nothing but problems. I switched to 7 ultimate and it's been great ever since then. Good luck
