Can't see FX assigned to tracks

Can't see FX assigned to tracks

In my previous project, I had an FX box actually in the track pane and it listed any FX I had assigned It also allowed to pick FX from a list if I right -clicked it.
 
In my new project, the tracks do not each have their FX listed. Assigning new FX requires that I ask to see the plugins list top right of the pane, the drag and drop to the track. OK, fair enough. But now I can't see the FX assigned to any track, even in the Track Inspector. The track Inspector has a box at the top, (Properties) with details of the track and I can't close that. I do not think it was there before. I am wondering if it hides the FX listing.
 
Sorry to sound daft, but this interface has had a few surprises for me. Usually I can work them out, but not this.

    Click the highlighted Clip tab to close clip properties in the Track Inspector to reveal the FX section. And check the Track Manager dropdown at the top of the track view to change what widgets are shown.
