Thanks. I've changed the meter colors a lot. But, you have to turn off segmented meters to change it from green. I'd like to have other colors in the segmented meters, but maybe we'll get that with the UI customization.

Just hoping it's easier to see which plugins are enabled and which are disabled.

To each his own.... I don't like the new darker look of most new software. I like the current Sonar because it is bright and I can see everything well. (well....except for the plug-in enable/disable issue)

Definitely hoping they fix this. It was much easier to see whether a plugin was enabled/disabled in previous versions of Sonar.

Indeed. I'm fairly comfortable with it at this point but always interested in options. My understanding is that this update, when it drops, will provide fairly deep and comprehensive theming/skinning for the whole program, but won't force anyone to change anything. The dark theme that has everyone excited (I think it looks pretty good myself) is the only one that has been teased so far, to my knowledge, but I would imagine that if they're going to the trouble of overhauling the front end to that degree, there will be more than one new theme provided on release... and, of course, more to follow as people tweak and share.

What makes me go on board in the hype train is the chance, to combine different schemes across the DAW (some mix up with the dark theme and gray or White one for example) but well we don't know if we have this modularity in this or future update.

You know, I realize that one of the things I like about Mixbus is the UI. I've learned to live with the UI in Sonar even though I'm not crazy about it. I've come back to this thread a few times JUST TO LOOK AT THAT GREY/ORANGE theme. Seriously. A good UI update would be most welcome.

Ditto. But being able to switch to a different theme for a change of mood is nice. I'll probably use this new dark theme only occasionally. It looks too loud and busy, so either my eyes will get tired or I won't be able to concentrate anymore after working in it for some ten minutes (or less). That's what happened when I tried darker colors in Studio One 3.

With my color deficiency, ANY extra choices would be most welcome.  That orange and dark are very easy on my eyes.  It would be nice if you could go into a "Color Edit Mode" that leaves what you have on the screen and you could click and pick what items you want to change.  The current system is a lot of trial and error.

Like the new Tungsten (W) theme.  Only thing is that it gets rid of the color coding for x32 (green) versus x64 (blue) plugins.  Could we get that restored?  Or at least have it set to a permanent 2 color scheme even if it varied with theme/color scheme?
