Candy land

This is an orchestral song I wrote 2 weeks ago. I wanted to write something playful and lighthearted. I aimed for something like a film soundtrack or something from a video game.

Chandler, Nice start for something bigger. Keep working in this and I'll watch it grow. Like the sky video, very relaxing and fits what you have done so far. Nice work so far.

John- If I have time in the future I'd like to develop it more, but for now it's finished. Thank you for the comments.

I think a bit more percussion would be nice, perhaps just a snare playing the ostinato figure with the strings. Some celeste would also be a nice additional touch. Nice work overall. I'd love to hear this with better samples.

This is a lovely piece of music which achieves your goal of sounding like a soundtrack from a movie.  My only suggestion would be to make if more dynamic because all the parts (or movements) sound the same volume right now.  Other than that, well done.

All the best,
Lynn

jsaras- Thanks, I think a celesta would be nice. I've never written for one before, but maybe I should. Also, I'd love to hear it with better samples too, but unfortunately I don't have the money.

Lynn- I appreciate the feedback. I had more dynamic changes before, but I was getting some complaints, so I toned it down. Looks like I might have gone too far.

twisted6s- Thanks for listening.
