Cannot hear guitar playing

I cannot hear my guitar when the program is in play.  For example, if I want to jam over a track, I cannot.  I only hear my guitar when tracks are not in play or if I press 'record' and actually record something.

Turn off input echo and use your Audio interfaces monitoring. You are set up wrong. Read your interfaces manual for details on it's controls. This is not a Sonar issue really. It's a hardware issue.

I do all my monitoring through Sonar, when I am playing guitar, so I actually make sure to have Input Echo turned 'On' for the guitar track I want to be able to hear when I am playing it while the project is either playing or recording.

OK, got that as well.  Everything now works as it did.  I am completely unsure what the heck button I hit to disable certain things.  Thanks.

Could be application focus.  IIRC, monitoring thru Sonar requires Sonar to have focus.  At least in some scenarios.
