Cannot route VST's to multiple tracks...

On Addictive Drums and other VST's I insert and all (16) tracks are loaded....but all audio goes to first 2 tracks for some reason....I cannot assign them to the other tracks
Must be some setting in Preferences that's wrong.....just don't know which one...
Thanks....

See below when inserting a synth. Or choose Mono outputs if appropriate.

thanks Anderton, but for some reason all audio goes to the first 2 tracks....and can't assign kitpieces to other tracks.
maybe some drummap setting causing this ? have no idea....half of the stuff in Preferences is beyond me

The individual track assignments are made in AD. There is a down arrow on each channel strip in AD which sends to output to separate tracks. The AD documentation details the track assignments.

thanks Scook, indeed the individual tracks show they would play the individual pieces....but for some weird reason all sound goes to track 1 & 2.  Haven't used a VST in a while, might be my new Akai eie interface....or some midi map/setting in preferences

To get true separation in AD you have to select the all mono outputs option or it still lumps some things together ie kick/snare routes to same track.

There's an output button at the bottom of each kit piece's mixer strip. Make sure that is lit. You'll also get some bleed and/or routing to the main outs from the overhesds and fx busses depending on how you have AD set up.

For AD you have to activate individual outs in the AD GUI.
