Can't Select Interface in X1

Hi,
 
I just installed a new audio/midi interface, Tascam US-1800, and it shows up in the preferences- devices- input and output drivers menu, but I am unable to check the boxes to enable the drivers. I used M-Audio USB ASIO Line in 1 Fast Track input, M-Audio USB ASIO Analog 1/2 Fast Track output  previously, and am able to uncheck those input and outputs, but can't check anything else.
 
Any idea how to get this interface to work?

    Did you follow the installation process for the Tascam? Some USB devices don't want you to install the drivers with the device plugged in yet. I would uninstall the Tascam and start over.

    Tried that, like 3 times!!

    Usually if you're unable to check the boxes it's because you already have boxes checked.

    Try uninstalling the Fast Track drivers.
    Since you can only use one set of ASIO drivers, maybe Sonar somehow locked on to those as it.

    I would try what chefmike said and uninstall all your other interface drivers including the tascam driver and reinstall, when you install the tascam drivers it is important to follow it step by step as you install, as far as plugging in and unplugging the interface as the install is happening. the drivers for tascam are a little tricky but once you get them they work flawlessly, also make sure you have got all the latest updates from tascam after you install. hope it works for ya. tascam makes a great interface.
