Can't do without

Hi

I just wondered what instument/vst/software/hardware you always use when laying down a new track

There's usually always one favourite "device or piece of software" that finds itself onto every track

Mine is an old roland GR33 Guitar guitar synth -
I gave up years ago trying to input bass and keyboard parts using a keyboard

Yours may be a reverb, drum machine, favourite guitar etc

just wondered what it may be????????

Funny thing about the gr-33. I have a Godin LGX which I play through a gr-30. The godin has had electrical problems for the past couple of years - so the gr-3o0 hasn't been getting any use. Yesterday, I got the godin working and fired up the gr-30 this morning - and amazingly a new tune came out of nowhere.

My Roland XP-80. I still use it for sketching out songs before I lay down a note in Sonar. Best (and first) musical purchase I ever made...

gordo, do you have a godin (godino)?

I'm recording with one line going into a pod xt live - the other into the gr-30 - using a slow leslie patch - sounds great on a blues tune.
