Can't get Melodyne Editor to work in Sonar X3e

I have encountered a problem on a vocal track with Melodyne which apparently is not totally unique.  It moves other blobs on its own when I move a blob to correct a pitch.  Sometimes it's in the same bar; sometimes a couple of bars away.  I was told by Melodyne support that this sometimes happens but is usually project specific.  So I made a new project and copied the tracks into it.  Same problem.  This happens despite my having the scale editor set to "No Snap."  And it will change the key when it does this to correspond with where it moved the notes.  Can't make it stay where I want.

Cakewalk Support had no answer for this but suggested I load the standalone "singletrack" version as a Rewire device.  But I haven't been able to make this work yet because I apparently don't understand exactly how to apply it to a track, especially a Take Lane.  I tried the "Transfer" procedure but just wind up with a single line and no notes.  Not sure what I'm missing.  So everything so far a total mess!

I never tried using Melodyne Essentials....just went ahead and upgraded to Editor.  OS is Win 7 Professional.

Does anyone have any experience with these same kinds of problems?  Thanks for any help.

Hi dscoyne, I don't have the same problem but have recently upgraded to SONAR Professional from X1 which used V -Vocal instead.
Now I'm having all sorts of problems. So my problem might be with Melodyne. Maybe I'll try removing Melodyne (an expensive third party plug in) altogether and see if I can replace it with V - Vocal. Ok it doesn't have some of Melodynes features,  but at least I could use it.
