Cant get command center or download product

I have spent all evening chasing my tail trying to get the Sonar Platinum I bought and which came today, to load.  Command center won't load because two files are in use, but nothing is running.  I seem to have a command center icon on the splash screen, but trying to download the software is useless.  And, there is no technical support or help line to phone.  Getting quickly disenchanted, but want it to succeed.

Start by providing some better details.
Do you actually have the Command Center installed at this point? When you say it won't load because "two files are in use, but nothing is running"... What message are you seeing (what two files?) Have you tried a restart and retry of Command Center?
I understand that you are frustrated but many of us haven't actually installed command Center or SONAR Plat for a considerable (other than updates) period of time. Years. It just works and works reliably. You need to be a bit more clear on what you are encountering on the installation side so that someone will actually be able to help you.

After installing Command center. there is a Reboot required.
This is often to complete the C++ library's needed for the installation.
 
Also you may need to Restart/reset your Home Modem in order to connect.
