Can't get the "ARM" button to work.

Hello guys, I have had my vs 100 for about a month now and I am very happy with it. For some reason the "ARM" button now refuses to do what it used to. I have tried looking for some setting that I may have changed with no luck. I can arm a track by clicking in sonar itself and the light does come on on the button on the vs 100 when I do so. Both the mute and solo buttons still work as before. The only thing that I can think of that I have done differently in recent sessions is to record to SD card, maybe it altered something there. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Just a quick add to my post, I also recently updated the firmware to 1.5 and the driver to 2.0. And I am running it through Sonar 8.5 producer.

    Hi Ian:

The only thing that occurs to me is to check your VS 100 mode to be certain that you're in DAW mode and that the DAW is, of course, Sonar.  If that doesn't fix it, I recommend calling Cakewalk and speaking with their VS 100 support.  It's usually a guy named Ryan who is a whiz at diagnosing and solving weirdnesses like this one.

Same problem here. Just bought this, upgraded to 1.5. Tried removing and adding VS control surface - no change

Hello you guys, the fact that Ian said that the mute and solo functions work tells me that you have the proper track selected for control with WAI. That would have been my suggestion to make sure of. Other than that, PF Twanger gave you what would have been my other suggestion... call Cake, they'll set you straight.

Haven't rung them yet but I have discovered the arm button doesn't work with Sonar X1. It does work with Sonar VS so that suggests something left out in X1

I've been following this thread, and tried dozens of combinations but cannot duplicate this problem.
I'm running the latest firmware / driver - and use X1c. The arm works perfectly here.

I don't believe this is purely an X1 issue, but there is certainly a bug somewhere. Possibly a driver conflict with something else on the system. I strongly suggest a call to Cakewalk.

Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!
