hmm... I doubt it's this because I don't think it gives a warning but are you tracks/clips locked by any chance? Click the track, press I to open the inspector, click the Clips tab, then beside where it says "Lock" click the dropdown to make sure it says Off as opposed to POS, Data or POS/Data. Just a thought.

Otherwise maybe the file is corrupted. Try an earlier Save of the project to see if it's still doing it. Also try safe mode to see if any of your effects might be causing a problem.

thanks v much chaps. I dont think they are locked as you get a padlock appearing in the clip. But i havent tried that specific method in the inspector. i will try the safe mode as well. Cheers beep. Any other ideas welcome.

Heh... yeah, I don't think I'm gonna be able to keep calling myself a beginner for much longer. Still a long road ahead though.

Hey, it looks like the last few responses you've had in other threads (at least the ones I've read) were pretty on target. Even if you were a little unsure. That's a good sign! Now go write your masterpiece already.

Now go write your masterpiece already. Gotta hold off until I'm in my new room and all set up. It'll probably take a few weeks but once everything is sorted out I'm going to try to start cranking out an album's worth of material every few months. Ambitious perhaps but I'll really have nothing better to do with my time and it keeps me sane... ish. ;-)
