Something similar happened to me 2 or 3 months ago. I got Dimension and P5 together
and couldn't register. Cakewalk emailed me the registration numbers. They told me the web site was having problems but I got the impression that their system didn't handle the purchase of P5 and dimension at the same time. Anyway they fixed it for me within a day or two.

    Ron,
How long did it take to get a reply???

I emailed my Invalid Number on the morning of 9-18-06 along with a copy of my order confirmation. I still haven't received a reply. The lady I talked to was very nice, and sounded as if she would return my new number right away.

does Dimension Pro use them same manner of copy protection as P5 and Sonar?

Or do you need to authorize Dimension Pro with any PC configuration change?

Yes. You get your serial# with the CD, and use it to obtain your Product Registration Code before the 30 days after installation are up. Remember the e-mail address that you registered under as well. It's important later on for updates, re-installs, etc.

I just received my new serial number and registration code. However, DP won't allow me to change the original serial number and won't accept the registration code with the old serial number. Do I have to reload DP and even if I do, will it accept the new serial number? Thanks!

Exactly the same for me last night.

However, I tried again this afternoon and was successful.

Additional Information.......... I tried to download the 1.2 the 1.2 RTAS as well as the expansion pack and have not been successful. I am now advised that I have not registered my product.

    Any suggestions?

    Susan,
Did you get a solution to this yet?

I called Cakewalk, and they sent me another serial# to download with. Took about a week, but they were swamped at the time.

If you are still having the problem and don't want to call LD from Africa, send me an e-mail at my contact here and I will send you the E-mail address of the person who helped me.

    Hi all
Been through this same issue. When I got the new Rego and serial number I had to completly uninstall DIM PRO to get the thing working properly. Best to try this.

    Keep well
