Can't seem to UN-mute take-lane takes

Only T5 will play. T2-T4 have the green outline around the edges of waveform, and I've tried everything I can think of, plus following directions on this web page, and others that are related from the online user manual. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=Arranging.38.htm

What do you think? Re-record the part?

Is the track or clips locked?

    Is it frozen?

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

When adding images to a post make sure to use the url to the image and not the url to the page hosting the image. The first link above https://imgur.com/N7nGp0R is the page hosting the mage https://i.imgur.com/N7nGp0R.png

NOTE: image urls have an image extension, in this case png.

Scook: I could not find a link to the image with the JPG. but IMGUR had a "copy" function. The second set of "empty" images were the inline HTML links they offered. The first two "empty" images were what IMGUR gave as the direct link. What else do I need to do? Thank you, very much !

Gswitz: nothing is locked or frozen: went thru each track and each take.

I guess its worth noting, it is a 5-string banjo part. I cannot play it at full speed (126bpm) so I set the audio snap of my playalong track (that I had mixed many years ago, and decided it needs banjo to drive it forward) to about 150. Then, recorded the banjo at that tempo.

After recording multiple takes, I returned the audiosnap stretch amount on the mix, back to 100%, and dropped the banjo tracks down to approx 70% to match tempo.

I'm weary of messing with this, and will probably attempt to re-record on brand new trax to see how that goes. Even at slow tempo, I'm not good enough to nail it in one take perfectly across the sections, so my plan is to comp it together when I'm done. I've never comped a track before, so new skillz to learn, coming up.

All of the links in the OP lack an image extension. The first image is a png on the imgur site. What I do is copy the BBCode and paste it directly in the post. I do not use the insert image function in the forum editor.

Scook: i'll give that a try next time I'm at my PC with access to IMGUR.

So, for anyone else still reading this, I created a new track, and new takes: all but the last take is muted. When I solo any other take, it stays muted

the clips are muted not the take lane. you will need to un-mute the clip. Click select the clip you wnad to hear and then press the k key. this will unmute the clip but you will need to do the same to the other clip to mute it or you will hear both clips.

Or you could un-mute each clip ad use the solo button on the take lane to hear them one by one.

Thanks, Tom: that is exactly what I thought I was supposed to do and did, and neither of those worked.
