Can't select multiple tracks in SONARx64?

Holding the control key down and clicking on the tracks used to let you select multiple tracks.  Now that doesn't work.  Am I missing something, being an idiot or did something change with 8.5 or the x64 version?

Thanks very much.

Still works for me. Click on the track #s when you do that.

Thanks for the reply.  Nope, not a thing here.  Highlighting right on the numbers too.  Selecting one deselects the other.  This is beyond strange.

    Thanks again.

Maybe you have a keyboard problem. There are 2 CTRL keys on most keyboards. Try it using the one you don't usually use.

Thanks for the reply.  Yes, I tried that.  Also tried using a different keyboard, all with the same result.

Hi Algodon, I am having the exact same problem in win xp 64 bit, did you find a solution? I cannot select multiple tracks with the control down. by selecting I mean....playing back multiple midi synth while pressing on a single note. I can select the track number without a problem and select multiple but only 1 synth plays at the time. Thanks, Ben

According to Cakewalk, Sonar is not supported on the 64-bit XP platform.

Yep, it appears XP64 isn't supported. Anyway, I switched to X1 and nothing changed. But cakewalk fixed my problem by taking over my W7 computer and doing it. I didn't see them do anything, so hopefully this won't happen to me again. Both keyboards I tried it with were USB, so maybe the remote CTRL button fixed it. Whew! This was grinding my gears. Thanks for the replies to such an old thread. Steve
