By the way, did anyone spot the wonderful bit of plankness exhibited by Alex 'The Plank' Jones on The One Show earlier?

Michael Sheen was discussing the commemorative Blue Plaque on Richard Burton's one-time abode (in Port Talbot IIRC) with said plank and Chris Evans...

Alex 'The Plank' Jones: Have you got a Blue Plaque yet Michael?

Chris Evans: Er... he's not dead yet Alex.

He is singing Rocket Man as I type Beag (9.18pm BST)

The question he is asking is about Scotty's ashes being sent into space.

Fair play, he got into it more as it went on and started veering from the script, not a classic HIGNFY but enjoyable nonetheless.

I liked the idea of Ilfracombe being a den of vice...

"My singing is for the masses, not the intelligentsia"  I shall remember that line too...

    Good times.

Thought he was poor to start with, but got better as it progressed.

He also 'sung' the first verse of God Save The Queen (a la Sex Pistols)

I'm quite looking forward to the 45 minute extended version (BBC1 - Sunday 10:25pm) though.
