(Case 328700) Mix recall problems on freezed instrument tracks

The mix recall feature seems not to work correctly with freezed instrument tracks. All fx-inserts in freezed instrument tracks were not recognized by mix save and recall.

Might be the plugs themselves there is an issue when freezing some VSTi's and mix recall, that is down to the way the plug works.  Which plugs are causing you a problem Markus

All plugins causes the issue. Tried several plugins from cakewalk and from third party.
The problems seems not related to specific plugins. It works when instrument track isn't freezed.

Here's a small example of what I do.
    - Create a new project, for example using the basic/normal template
    - put in a instrument track, for example Rapture Session
    - record some notes
    - save current mix (Mix-1)
    - Put in an audioeffect, for example Sonitusfx-Delay
    - save this as a new mix (Mix-2)
    - change to Mix-1, it will revert to version without the fx
    - change to Mix-2, it will load the version with the fx
at this stage it works as expected.
     - remain on Mix-2 and freeze the instrument track. In the freeze option "track fx" is disabled because we don't want to have the fx rendered to the freezed audio.
    - change back to Mix-1, the loaded fx still remains.
    - remove the fx or load some other fx and change to Mix-2. All fx remains and were not affected anymore by mix recall function.

    All options activated.
I've recorded a screencast video that shows the problem:

OK. that's for Cakewalk to look at ...

BTW, do you know if this only happens when using instrument tracks i.e. is it OK when using separate MIDI and audio tracks for your synth or do you see the same recall problems?

It's the same problem with seperate MIDI and audio tracks.

Regarding this case, I got answer from support on Oct 7th that they could reproduce and submitted it to development team. The ticket was closed.

As of today, more than two months later, the problem still exists in version 2017.11.

About 4 months later and this bug still exists in the current 2017.01 release.
I'm not happy with this kind of support and development.

The mix recall feature is partly unusable when it don't work with freezed instrument tracks. For my feeling, a feature like mix-recall is far more important as such a crap like lenses.

Sorry, but I'm really frustrated now.
