Cast The First Stone- Remake

Did this song awhile back, but since last posted I did a remake and it sounds much better than the older version. I hope you will enjoy it. John

    Hi John,

Cool groove and jam - maybe a little too much chorus fx on the lead guitar part, but that's to taste.

There's a lot going on in the mix, and it sounds good overall, but at various points some of the synth tones need more separation.

Whasssup John!!? I see you're still the synth master! I think it sounds great and the only comment I would make is to agree with Bertrand on the chorus fx on the guitar. Blessings John.

Thanks all for your comments and for listening. As for the chorus fx on the guitar, well, it is a setting I created in my GNX4 and has the sound I personally was looking for to use with this particular piece. I did however add some additional room reverb to this piece and that maybe what gives it the deeper sound that you are hearing. I will see if I can adjust that back a bit through my reverb master settings. The synth is Cakewalk Kinetic 2 and also some from Sony Creative Sound Libraries, as are the drums. I used two guitars in this piece thru my GNX4 with a little bit different settings on each. It was mixed in Acid Pro 6 and mastered in Sound Forge 9. It is a lot of work and time creating one of these types of jams and I feel fortunate to even pull it off at all. The good part is the being able to share it with others and to put a message with it for the Lord. That is really what it is all about for me. Thanks again for the comments and I'll see what I can do on the chorus/verb. John
