Certain soft synth tracks (like DP X64) seem to stop working as if they are muted?

Some times, when I open Cakewalk Sonar X1 and play my song back, some of the tracks simply do not output sound (like a soft synth MIDI track using Dimension Pro X64).  I'm not sure why this is and I can NEVER get the sound back...the only way I can is by making a whole new track, copying the MIDI data, and then deleting the original.  I can't keep doing this and it gets very frustrating.

I have tried pressing the run/stop the audio engine button as well as the reset MIDI button and those do not work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help,

Ryan

I think it has something to do with NRPN's or RPN's. Save the track to another name, do into the event list and delete all of them. You can set to show only the nrpns and rpns to make it easier to delete.

I'm sure someone can help better than I am though. I only use midi as placement till I record the real instrument.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

DP64 always gave me fits, so I just don't use it anymore.

I'm not sure what NRPNs or RPNs are...I'm still not sure what it causing the problem.  Could it be when I turn on my keyboard AFTER I start up the software?  I turned on the keyboard at one point in the middle of using Sonar, so I'm starting to wonder if that is causing some issues too...
