Well David, I would have to say the music fit well to the video, but that was one weird video, to say the least. And by the way we would like to hear what you have to say about some of our work. This isn't a one way street of posting.

I was so tuned in on the soundtrack I paid no attention to the guy talking, or was it a girl? anyway I love that kind of style and when the drums kick in I was hoping it would take off there. You ought to expand it into a stomping ballad from there. Very nice, well mixed. capg

And to Gus, I don't know, it's really just a different experience, composing to film and just composing without anything. There's definitely plusses and minuses. But I love it. It's great having that structure to work in you know. Takes a little of the pressure off of thinking about the music in terms of a "song" ...
Also I was thinking about entering that Ghostwriter contest... I'll check out your track when I get to the computer later. :-)

Go for it. You were only saying the other day about limiting yourself. And I found it a great challenge for that. 10 days to write and mix only using the sounds within the program. I started again on day 5. Went to bed at 3am up at 6.30am on the Saturday and finished on the Sunday. Quickest piece for for so far. 2 days! yeah go for it. I'll vote for yours! :)

The music sounds really good! I'm not sure why though, but for some reason to my senses the voiceover being on top doesn't seem to exactly fit incredibly well with the visuals.... that is, to me it just feels like three somewhat separate elements. Just me though, take it with a grain of salt, and nice sounds :)

Thanks! Yea I didn't actually handle the mix with the voice over and all of that, but I think they did a pretty good job mixing it. Music could be a little louder in places :-)

I think it's a pretty cool piece of software. There's a fair amount of stuff in there that I had a little trouble actually finding a use for, but the stuff I liked I LOVED!
