Change VST patches with controller?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if there is a way to change VST sound patches from a midi controller / keyboard? I have a Motif ES 6 and I would like to be able to go threw the sounds in say 'Dimension' using a controller rather than the mouse.

Can this be done? If so what do I need to look into to make this work?

No for synths like Dim Pro, MIDI bank and patch changes. But yes for others like Pentagon, which do respond to bank and patch changes.
