Change all midi notes to same length

I recorded an eighth note arpeggiated guitar using my midi keyboard.  Now I would like to export it and bring it into Sibelius for printing so a real guitar can play it.  If you have ever done this, you know that the resulting sheet music is very hard to read because the keyboard was played using sustained notes.  The sheet music is full of long notes and ties, etc.  Guitar music would normally be written in simple eighth notes with a note to let them ring.

My question is, is there some way in Sonar to make all of the notes played into eight note lengths ?  Maybe a CAL script or some midi effect that I am not aware of.

Thanks

Assuming you are using an X series version of SONAR and that you are using 960 TPQN

    select all the notes
then in the inspector set the duration to your chosen value which for eighth notes would 240

    sorted.

You can use the Event Inspector to make all kinds of changes to multiple MIDI notes. Check out the video on my site called Cakewalk SONAR: Event Inspector Editing... http://www.garrigus.com

Thanks much guys.  That was easy and it came out just like I wanted it to.  I keep forgetting about that Event Inspector, maybe because its not on my Control Bar, as a default.  Think I need to get rid of something else on there.
