Changed Motherboard/CPu, now project plays fast, higher pitch.

I did search for this problem but didn't find anything.

I have used 8.5 for a long time. Got sucked into X1 using the trial. Upgraded to X1 Production suite two weeks ago. I have the Expanded X1d update loaded. All my old projects were running great, except I realized it was time for a computer upgrade. New motherboard and cpu, harddrive and ram installed after being gone for two weeks.  For some reason, I had to re-install X1 again (only trial was on my computer). No problem. But now all my projects play at a faster speed, and a higher pitch.

Sisce I am new to X1, can't seem to figure it out. Any help?

Check your sample rate in preferences.

That sounds like the project's sample rate got bumped. You'll have to see what the settings are for the soundcard under "Preferences"

BTW Please try to post your systems specs, CPU, soundcard, etc.

If I were you I would go through the preference menu and recheck every category. Usually after her a reinstall things need to be looked at again. So it's a good idea to recheck all these things.

Thank you for replying. It was the soundcard clock that had been reset. I feel stupid for not checking that  right away.

I tried to reply the other day, but I couldn't find the thread, so sorry for the late respons, and thank you very much.
