Changing MIDI Channel for Multiple Notes in Piano Roll View

Hello,
I'm a newbie MC6 Touch user.

I'm interested in using Cakewalk TTS-1 to make my own music right now.

I was trying to change MIDI channel for Cakewalk TTS-1 on multiple notes in PRV (Piano Roll View) to change the instrument, but only note that I clicked on changes channel regardless of highlighting multiple notes before changing channel.

Could you teach me how to change channel of multiple notes at once?

Thanks in advance.

This answer is based on earlier versions of MC.
I don't think you have to change channels. Click Insert at the top and see if you have the option to Insert Patch Change.
Set it to which new patch you want and at what time to change.

    Thx for reply

I actually want channel change for not all notes in a clip, but only part of it.
I also need partial change of channel to apply different controllers for different notes.
