Changing Time Signature Throughout the song
How do i change the time signature throughout the song without effecting what was previously recorded. Also, if i have a song that's say 3/4 in one part 4/4 in another and 6/8 somewhere, how do i gracefully make these changes. I would really like to be able to follow a click track is all.

View Tempo. I'm assuming you're recording MIDI. You can't change the tempo on Audio tracks after they are recorded unless you convert them into Groove Clips.

Okay i think i didn't explain what i'm trying to do ver well, sorry. So i'm recording a guitar riff that is 150 BPM that i copy/paste 4 times, the next riff coming up has a BMP of 135, how do i only effect the song from a certain point? If i want to go back and forth on the song to be able to have a click track following the entire way through? Also if i want to slowly slow down the riff and still follow a click track. Also i have a song where i'm recording a guitar riff in 4/4, there's a transfer and then a riff that is 6/8 how do i change the time signature from a certain point on. On another note, you can change the tempo with Groove Clip? Does it affect the pitch or quality.

What about changing the BPM in different parts of the song without changing what was previously recorded? Same goes for changing the time signature.

Select the time in the time ruler where you want the the meter/ key change to occur. Click Insert from the menu and select Meter/Key Change. Fill in what you want and select OK. Bill

If you change the tempo after you've recorded audio tracks, you will have to convert them to Groove Clips or they will be out of time.
