Changing channel on Midi track

I have imported a midi track that was exported from another program.  The midi file is showing it is on channel 8 as viewed from the events list.
 
Looking for a method to change the channel 8 to channel 1 in the events list other than one event at a time.
 
Is there global method for a track?

    Have you tried using the event inspector?
