Changing colors in a midi track

Is there a way to change selected clip colors to identify chord changes visually in a track

I don't know if you can change the colors, but you should be able to name the clips. At least you could in every Cakewalk program I've owned. I don't have X1, but in earlier versions, you right-click the clip, select Properties and give the clip a name which will then appear in the clip.

    I have figured it out.
you have to select the portion of the clip and slice it so that it is seperate, then highlite the clip, then open the inspector pannel, click on the clip tab to see the properties for the selected clip and in there you can change the backgnd ,foregnd and the name. Doing all this though increases processing requirements
