Changing entire row of Velocities in PRV for an instrument ?

A guy I am working on some projects with sent me some DRUM MIDI tracks.
One problem, the SNARE drums thru the whole song are only showing a VELOCITY of 30 for every hit.
Pretty wimpy for a hard rock song.

I have tried to figure out how to go into PRV, select the entire SNARE DRUM HIT row and simultaneously set all the SNARE HIT VELOCITIES to 119

Then of course I will go back and selectively add some velocity variations throughout the whole song (as well as activate the human velocity randomization in my Drum Module Synth for even more human feel).

Is there a way to perform this quick fix in one quick SELECT action ?

I would prefer to not have to go thru every single snare hit in the whole song and change each hit manually.

Thanks

click on the note on the keyboard (or note name) on the left. then all the snares will be highlighted. Then pick any velocity stem and drag it up to 119. they should all move together. Or, you could use interpolation (or, whatever it's called.) Or, then again, event filter.

I do it the same a timidi..Select the snareusing the left keyboard in PRV and then move the selected out passed the last measure,  Sometimes I'll use qroove quantize to get a human feel, then slide them back into place.

I understand the question, but I don't think there is a shift key group to make it easier.

For what you're trying to do, I'd use the Midi velocity tool, under Midi Fx.

Start by raising all the highlighted notes to a set amount, then use the randomize function to introduce some variation to the hits.

    +1

I do it this way aswel

I l click the keyboard in PRV to highlite all the snare hits then go to Midifx Velocity tool and raise to what you I and hit random

If its not right hit undo and try again at a different velocity :)

Yep - you can get some quite different results by playing with the offset control as well.
