Changing midi channel on all midi notes?

OK, changing the midi channel on one midi note is simple. But how do I change the midi channel on a group of midi notes at the same time?

Lassoing all of them & changing the channel on one doesn't work - it only alters the one you've tampered with.

So, how do I do it?

Thanks awfully,

Oh, & just in case, if someone is thinking about asking... say you're working with Stylus RMX, & have a pattern working on channel 1 & want to try it quickly on say channel 3, you'll have to change that midi pattern to 3 for it to play channel 3 on Stylus.
That kinda thing.

You can use the Event Inspector. It's a toolbar so make sure it's shown Views/Toolbars and place a check by Event Inspector. Select all the midi notes who's channel you wish to change and type the channel in Event Inspector.

AS WDI stated  _ Event Inpsector is the tool. It's the best - fastest tool to change global  midi events from what ever notes you have selected. Great for setting durations  - velocities - channel number etc.
