Changing specific MIDI clip tempo without changing project tempo?

Hey all-

I'm not a very experienced Sonar user, so I was curious to know if there is a way to change the tempo of a specific MIDI clip so as to not change the entire project tempo. I'm asking this because I'm attempting to record some covers (just for fun) using a MIDI drum file I've downloaded. I'm also dropping in the original song's MP3 to use as a backing track for initial recording, but without being able to change the tempo of just the MIDI file, the two do not sync up and I am unable to record properly. Is there a way to do what I am asking or am I just crazy? Thanks for your time!

    Two ways:

    1. Open the MIDI track as a separate project in SONAR, change the tempo to match the target project, and then drag it to the new project.

    2. Use Process > Length on the MIDI clip to change its length by a percentage of 100 x Original Tempo / New Tempo (yes that factor is opposite what you might think, because shorter clip ---> higher tempo)
