Changing tempo...please help

"Hey guys 2 simple questions please...1.) if I have just drum trax recorded and want to change the tempo of the entire set of drum trax what steps do I take in Sonar 8 to do that ? 2.) If I just want to change the tempo of a certain section of the drum trax what steps do I take in Sonar 8 ?" We went to views, then clicked tempo, typed in tempo speed(also tried tapping), hit enter on keyboard. Everything looks right, and on the grid view we can get the vertical line to speed up and down but it's not changing the audio. The audio tempo will not change no matter how much we change the numbers. Thanks

MIDI tracks will follow tempo changes, but generally, audio does not.
If your version of S8 has audio snap, it may do what you want. Check the help files. I have never used it.
You can also try converting your audio to groove clips. However, this can be a bit dodgy.
If it's practical, the best option would really be to record the drums at the correct tempo.
