Changing time

I wasn't quite sure how to search for this so apologies if it already in the forum. Saw a great gig last night and the band during one of the last songs started a song, then slowed down , went into a slower song and then back to the original faster song. It was a really good effect but of course with real musicians, slowing down and speeding up again is easy.  Can this be done using virtual drums?  I'm using Sonar X3 and Session Drummer 3.
Thanks guys.

The short answer is Views > Tempo. MIDI driving a drum synth will follow any changes you make there.

Thanks brun... i'll check it out.   It's not a technique I'd use a lot of course but it would be a cool feature to add to a song where possible.
