Channel Tools Presets

Hi all.

A couple of months or so ago, there was a thread running which branched off into the subject of missing presets in Channel Tools.

I didn't bookmark it, can't find it, and am now faced with exactly this problem in 8.5.3 - there are definitely several presets not appearing in the dropdown box.

At the time, Scott Garrigus provided interested users with the file & location of where this can be downloaded & copied onto your computer.

Does anyone recall this or, even better, provide me with the details to download the file.

Many thanks,

Jonesey

I see this is an older thread. Did you ever get a solution for this?

I have the same issue where  I insert Channel Tools on any new songs/tracks that I may use it on. (on X2 now) I received a .spp file from tech support that supposedly contain the presets along with instructions on how to import the presets. I can send you this if you still need it but I have to say it did not work for me. I am curious if it will for you or what your solution was for this. The only way I was able to get the original presets was to open an older song that has Channel Tools and to create and save as an FX Chain.

    Let me know thanks,

    Hi John.

I did eventually get this sorted out, but only via Scott Garrigus who writes the Sonar POWER books.

I've had problems too. I thought it was an fx chain deal. Now I'll have to check this out again.
