Channels swapped? On everything?

This is SO strange...

I opened a slightly older project - created in X1 - with X2 just to "mess about" a bit with the mix. The first thing I noticed upon playing the project was that the L and R channels had been reversed. I checked several things, found no cause, so I closed it and opened it in X1. Guess what? The channels were reversed in X1 as well!.

This is not just some of the tracks, it is the entire project that has swapped L + R.

I know I didn't (intentionally) do anything to swap channels, and there is no indication in either version of the program to indicate WHY it has happened. Anyone have any thoughts on this? What should I be looking for?

Thanks for your brainpower in advance,

Joel

    Perhaps your speakers are reversed?

Is it just that one project - are all other projects fine?

    What are your meters showing?

Do the sounds coming out of your speakers correspond to what the meters are telling you?
